Conclusion

Notes:

The types of problem encountered at the company are common to many organisations that experience growth. They have been reported before, and no doubt will be reported again.

Tackling surface problems often leaves the real issues unresolved. And the real solutions often look unwieldy.

As I commented last year: the results were exceptionally good, and as I predicted the rate of progress slowed. (However, I do admit that I didn't realise how much it would slow).

But progress is being made, in a wider number of areas.

Progress is best where the people concerned grasp the underlying problems and work to address them. But even in the best cases it takes a lot of time before results are apparent.
